Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

Order Cancellations

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website, for a full refund. However, to exercise this right you must notify us in writing (email or letter), within 7 working days from the day after you receive your goods. A telephone call will not be accepted as a valid cancellation. No right of cancellation exists once you have used your product, unless the product is defective and you are returning it for this reason. If you fail to return the goods within 21 days of your cancellation, we will make a charge in respect of the cost of recovering the goods. If you do not return the goods or fail to make them available for collection within 30 days of your notice of cancellation, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods, at which point a new purchase contract will be made and you will be charged for your order at the price set out on the web site. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Returns Procedure

Use a new sheet of paper or the back of your original dispatch slip to write your order number and reason for return and enclose it with the item to be returned. If you are returning your product because it is defective, please state the defect or defects. Also state whether you would like a refund or exchange.
We will refund the purchase price of a returned product within thirty days of delivery of the returned product back to us.
For exchanges, please state the size and product code of the item you require to enable us to deal ith your request. Exchanges will be processed and dispatched as soon as practicable. You will be notified if an item is out of stock.
Items should be returned, in their original packaging including all accessories, brochures, manuals, guarantees or warranties that came with the product to: Returns Department

You should ensure that the returned product is adequately packed for shipment back to us. We are unable to issue a refund where the product is in an incomplete state or where the original packaging has been damaged or destroyed.
You are responsible for paying any postage or shipping costs incurred when returning the product unless it is returned because of a defect or our error. Please contact us prior to return with details of the defect and for us to advise carriage. A defect will only be determined upon return of your item and at the discretion of Supportecs. We reserve the right to return the goods to the manufacturer for inspection before issuing a refund. If the manufacturer deems there is no product defect we reserve the right not to issue a refund. The cost of carriage will not be refunded if a defective item is returned to us without prior notification.
Supportecs cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of returned goods so we recommend you get a certificate of posting from the Post Office or Courier or send to us by recorded delivery so you have a record of return. We will not issue refunds for any items lost or stolen in transit to us. Compensation in this instance will be from the Carrier that shipped the return.
Goods will be exchanged only if they have not been worn, used or otherwise soiled and are in original, undamaged packaging. Goods that are sealed or shrink-wrapped and this is removed can only be returned if they are defective.

Special and Sale Items

No right of cancellation exists for personalised goods or goods where there may be hygiene issues, unless defective. These include but are not limited to: Athletic supporters (jock straps), opened mouth guards, moulded insoles and sterile products. If in doubt then please contact us before opening or using.
Items purchased at a special discount or sale price can only be exchanged for other sizes. If a different product is required then the additional cost of the other item will be charged. All media and discount codes are not applied to items in a sale. Promotional, media and discount codes are only available through the website. Mouth Guards are none returnable once opened. Please make sure you have the correct item before opening the packaging.

Aerosols

Aerosols are classed as dangerous and some Carriers will prohibit their transport by air. We will not be responsible for refunding your postage or for any delay if a prohibitive item is not delivered to you and returned to us by the Carrier. We will contact you in this instance to discuss options.
